Ryzen 7000 needs AM5 (B650/X670). Ryzen 5000 uses AM4 (B450/X570). Intel 12th/13th Gen uses LGA1700 (B660/Z790). -
RAM Speed
Ryzen CPUs benefit from fast RAM (3600MHz DDR4 or 6000MHz DDR5). Enable XMP/EXPO in BIOS after building. -
Power Supply Sizing
CPU TDP + GPU TDP × 2 = minimum safe PSU wattage. An RTX 4070 + Ryzen 7 needs at least a 650W 80+ Gold unit. -
Cooling
Ryzen 9 / Intel i9 chips generate serious heat. A 240mm+ AIO liquid cooler or a high-end tower air cooler is a must. -
Storage Strategy
